We recently got a first hand VIP look at the newly renovated Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles that has been fourteen months and $90 million dollars in the making. Although the unusual facade has generated a stream of ongoing media attention, it was the creative interior layout and related car collection that left me in awe.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to experience this awesome collection first, hand don’t worry as we bring you the next best thing. IĀ  spent a full day photographing the highlights for your sensory enjoyment. The eye candy is unbelieveable. Roughly 130 cars on display are spread over three floors with central themes of Artistry, Industry and History.
As was the case with this year’s L.A. Auto Show, I decided to ditch my Canon DSLR, flash unit, monopod and bag of accessories, in favor of a Sony MirrorlessĀ  camera and an Iphone 6s. I decided to travel light and shoot the entire event using only my new iPhone 6s.

Avoid the parking, the crowds, the food, the traffic and enjoy this x minute slide show containing most of what you would see if you fought the traffic, paid for parking, purchased a ticket, bought a snack and spent hours scouring ninety thousand square feet of exhibit space looking for the latest models.

Sit back, turn up the volume, click here and enjoy!
